Contribution to an article on Preconception health titled ‘Tackling inequalities in preconception health and care: barriers, facilitators and recommendations for action from the 2023 UK preconception EMCR network conference’.  

The article is intended to help address inequalities in preconception health and care in the UK and to put forward a set of recommendations to tackle these inequalities as 50% of pregnancies in the UK are not planned which can influence the lifelong health of the next generation and expectant mothers.
